PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Has keratolytic, antiseptic, local irritating and anti-inflammatory effect. Suppresses secretion of sebaceous and sweat glands.
INDICATIONS
Ordinary acne, oily seborrhea, chronic eczema.
DOSING MODE
Outwardly. The drug is applied to the affected skin 2-3 times a day. The maximum daily intake for adults is 10 ml (corresponding to 0.2 g of salicylic acid). The course of treatment - no more than 1 week.
SIDE EFFECT
Individual intolerance, allergic reactions are possible; local reactions (burning, itching, hyperemia).
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity, kidney failure; childhood; pregnancy and lactation.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
APPLICATION FOR FUNCTIONS OF THE LIVER
Contraindicated: renal failure.
APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN
Contraindicated: children's age.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Do not apply the drug to birthmarks, warts, warts in the genital area or face.
In case of contact with mucous membranes, rinse the area with plenty of water.
DRUG INTERACTION
Salicylic acid can increase skin permeability for other medicines for external use and thereby increase their absorption. The absorbed salicylic acid may increase the side effects of methotrexate and oral hypoglycemic drugs derived from sulfonylureas. The solution is pharmaceutically incompatible with Resorcinol (Resorcinol) (forms melting mixtures) and zinc oxide (insoluble zinc salicylate).
