PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Antatsidny drug with a component that reduces flatulence. Neutralizes free hydrochloric acid (hydrochloric acid) in the stomach, which leads to a decrease in the activity of pepsin. Does not cause secondary hypersecretion of gastric juice. It has an adsorbent and enveloping effect, reduces the effect of damaging factors on the gastric mucosa. Accelerates the healing of stomach and duodenal ulcers. Reduces gas formation in the intestine.
Simethicone, which is part of the drug, reduces gassing in the intestine. Licorice root extract deglycyrrizinated increases the protective effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach, promoting the regeneration of mucous cells, improving the quality and quantity of mucus, and also has antispasmodic effect.
The drug accelerates the healing of stomach and duodenal ulcers.
PHARMACOKINETICS
Absorption of the components of the drug is low.
INDICATIONS
For tablets and suspensions
- Stomach ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the phase of exacerbation;
- hernia of the esophageal opening of the diaphragm, reflux esophagitis;
- discomfort and pain in the epigastrium, dyspeptic symptoms (heartburn, belch with a sour taste) with an error in the diet, excessive use of coffee, nicotine and alcohol.
For tablets
- prevention and treatment of dyspeptic symptoms arising from the use of NSAIDs and SCS.
For the suspension
- Acute gastritis, chronic gastritis with increased and normal secretory function in the exacerbation phase, duodenitis.
DOSING MODE
Adults and adolescents over 15 years of age, the drug is prescribed for 1-2 tablets. or 5-10 ml (1-2 teaspoons) 3-4 times / day. The maximum daily dose is 40 ml (8 teaspoons).
For children aged 10 to 15 years, the dose is 1/2 the recommended dose for adults.
The duration of therapy is 14 days. The question of longer-term use is decided by the physician individually.
The drug is taken daily after meals and in the evening before going to bed or if there is discomfort, epigastric pain, heartburn.
When you take the pill, chew and drink with water.
Before taking the suspension, homogenize by shaking the bottle.
SIDE EFFECT
From the digestive system: constipation, nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, changes in taste.
From the side of the water-electrolyte balance: hypermagnesium, hypophosphatemia, hypocalcemia, hypercalciuria, hyperaluminia.
From the urinary system: nephrocalcinosis, impaired renal function.
From the osteomuscular system: osteomalacia, osteoporosis.
Other: encephalopathy, allergic reactions. In patients with concomitant renal failure - thirst, lowering blood pressure, hyporeflexia.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- intolerance to fructose;
- hypophosphatemia;
- severe renal dysfunction;
- Alzheimer's disease;
- Pregnancy;
- the period of lactation (breastfeeding);
- children's age till 10 years;
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
The drug is contraindicated for use in pregnancy.
If you need to use the drug during lactation, you should decide whether to stop breastfeeding.
APPLICATION FOR FUNCTIONS OF THE LIVER
Contraindicated in severe impairment of kidney function.
APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN
Contraindication: children under 10 years.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
The interval between reception of Relzer and other medicinal products should be 1-2 hours.
With prolonged use (more than 14 days), regular medical supervision is necessary.
The drug contains sorbitol and is therefore contraindicated for intolerance to fructose.
OVERDOSE
Symptoms: with prolonged use in high doses, it is possible to form kidney stones, constipation, drowsiness, hypermagnesia; development of signs of metabolic alkalosis (mood changes, muscle pains, nervousness, fatigue, unpleasant taste sensations).
Treatment: gastric lavage, artificial vomiting, reception of activated charcoal.
DRUG INTERACTION
When used concomitantly, the Relzer can adsorb certain drugs, thereby reducing their absorption. Reltzer reduces and slows down the absorption of digoxin, indomethacin, salicylates, chlorpromazine, phenytoin, histamine H2 blockers, beta-adrenoblockers, diflunizal, isoniazid, tetracycline antibiotics, quinolones (including ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, ofloxacin, enoxacin, grepafloxacin ), azithromycin, cefpodoxime, pivapicillin, rifampicin, indirect anticoagulants, barbiturates, fexofenadine, dipyridamole, zalcitabine, bile acids (chenodeoxycholic and ursodeoxycholic), penicillamine, drug in iron and lithium, quinidine, lansoprazole, mexiletine, ketoconazole.
With the simultaneous administration of drugs in enteric medicinal forms, a change in the pH of gastric juice (a more alkaline reaction) can lead to an accelerated destruction of the envelope and cause irritation of the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum.
When combined, m-holinoblokatory, slowing the emptying of the stomach, strengthen and prolong the action of the drug Relzer.
