PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined drug, the effect of which is determined by the components that make up its composition.
Paracetamol and propifenazone - analgesics-antipyretics, have an analgesic and antipyretic effect.
Caffeine - a psychostimulant, has a tonic effect: reduces drowsiness and fatigue, increases mental and physical performance, increases heart rate, increases blood pressure in arterial hypotension.
Codeine , an opioid receptor agonist, has an analgesic effect and improves the tolerability of pain.
Phenobarbital - barbiturate, has a sedative and spasmolytic effect.
PHARMACOKINETICS

INDICATIONS
Moderately expressed pain syndrome of different genesis, including:
- pain in the joints and muscles;
- algodismenorea;
- neuralgia;
- Post-traumatic pain;
- headache;
- toothache.
Feverish syndrome (as a symptomatic agent).
DOSING MODE
The drug is taken internally, as a rule, 1 tab. 1-3 times / day. The maximum daily dose is 4 tablets.
The drug should not be taken more than 5 days when prescribed as an anesthetic and more than 3 days as an antipyretic. Other doses and regimens are prescribed by the doctor individually.
SIDE EFFECT
Allergic reactions: rashes, Quincke's edema, itching, urticaria.
From the side of the central nervous system: dizziness, increased excitability (especially in children), decreased speed of psychomotor reactions, drowsiness.
From the cardiovascular system: palpitation, increased blood pressure.
Other: nausea, agranulocytosis.

During treatment, the patient should stop using alcohol (increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding).
Excessive consumption of caffeinated products (coffee, tea) on the background of treatment can cause symptoms of an overdose.
When taking the drug, it may be difficult to diagnose the abdominal pain syndrome, incl. with the symptom complex "acute abdomen."
When taking the drug, it is possible to change the results of doping control tests of athletes.
Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and manage mechanisms
When taking the drug, it is necessary to refrain from potentially dangerous activities requiring increased attention, because The drug slows the reaction rate and causes drowsiness.
OVERDOSE
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, sweating, pallor of the skin, tachycardia, agitation.
Treatment: the affected person should do gastric lavage and prescribe adsorbents (activated charcoal).
If you suspect a poisoning, you should immediately seek medical help.
DRUG INTERACTION
Avoid combination of the drug with barbiturates, antiepileptics, zidovudine, rifampicin and alcohol-containing beverages (increased risk of hepatotoxic effects).
Paracetamol increases the time taken for chloramphenicol 5 times.
Caffeine accelerates the absorption of ergotamine.
Codeine enhances the effect of sleeping pills, analgesics and sedatives.
Metoclopramide accelerates the absorption of paracetamol.
With repeated admission, paracetamol can enhance the effect of anticoagulants (dicumarin derivatives).
