PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Pilex tablets are a multicomponent herbal preparation, the effectiveness of which is due to the complex action of its constituents. Medicinal plants that are part of the Pilex tablets have anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, venotonic, wound-healing, membrane-stabilizing, antimicrobial and antioxidant effects. When using Pilex tablets, there is a decrease in venous stasis, swelling, hyperemia and other signs of the inflammatory process in acute and chronic hemorrhoids in the acute stage. The drug improves microcirculation, accelerates the healing process, reduces the likelihood of infection. Thanks to a soothing and mild laxative effect, the use of the Pilex preparation facilitates the process of defecation with chronic constipation accompanying hemorrhoids.
PHARMACOKINETICS
Data on the pharmacokinetics of the multicomponent herbal preparation Pilex in the dosage form of the tablet are absent. The activity of the drug is due to the mutually reinforcing combined effect of its components, which is typical for herbal medicines. Since the activity of the drug can not be fully attributed to any single compound, pharmacokinetic studies of multicomponent plant preparations, including Pilex tablets, are not feasible.
INDICATIONS
- Hemorrhoids 1-2 stages.
DOSING MODE
Inside.
Adults take 2 tablets 2 times a day after meals.
The duration of the course of therapy is 14 days.
If necessary, the course of therapy can be extended.
SIDE EFFECT
Allergic reactions are possible. Rarely - dyspeptic phenomena (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), rapidly passing after the withdrawal of the drug.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

OVERDOSE

DRUG INTERACTION
The combined use of Pilex tablets and Pilex ointment drugs increases the effectiveness of treatment. Possible use with other anti-hemorrhoidal drugs in the course of complex therapy.
