PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined drug, has antispasmodic and antacid effects.
Belladonna has spasmolytic (m-cholinoblocking) action. Prevents the stimulating effect of acetylcholine; reduces the secretion of salivary, gastric, bronchial, lacrimal, sweat glands, pancreas. Reduces the muscle tone of the gastrointestinal tract, bile duct and gallbladder; causes tachycardia, improves AV-conduction. It dilates the pupils, hinders the outflow of the intraocular fluid, raises the intraocular pressure, causes paralysis of accommodation.
Sodium bicarbonate when ingested interacts with hydrochloric acid of gastric juice, neutralizing it. Increases the excretion of sodium and chlorine, osmotic diuresis, shifts the reaction of bronchial mucus to the alkaline side, raises bronchial secretion, makes phlegm less viscous, improves its expectoration.
INDICATIONS
- intestinal colic;
- Hyperacid gastritis;
- Heartburn;
- indigestion.
DOSING MODE
Inside, for 30-40 minutes before a meal, 1 tab. 2-3 times / day.
The highest single dose for adults - 5 tab., The highest daily dose - 15 tab.
SIDE EFFECT
Dry mouth, thirst, intestinal atony, urinary retention, tachycardia, mydriasis, paresis of accommodation.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
hypersensitivity;
- an angle-closure glaucoma;
- hypertrophy of the prostate gland with violation of the outflow of urine.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and manage mechanisms
During the treatment period, care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration of attention, speed of psychomotor reactions and good vision.
OVERDOSE
Symptoms: psychomotor agitation, convulsions, paresis of accommodation, acute retention of urine.
