PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined drug. It has a local irritating ("distracting"), anti-inflammatory, some antiseptic action, it helps to narrow the blood vessels of the nasal passages of the mucosa.
The pharmacological effect of the drug is due to the properties of its constituent components.
Menthol - local irritant, the effect of which is due to reflex reactions associated with irritation of sensitive receptors of the mucous membranes. It has an easy local anesthetic ("distracting") effect, has weak antiseptic properties.
Eucalyptus oil has a stimulating effect on the receptors of the mucous membranes and has an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.
INDICATIONS
- as a symptomatic agent in the treatment of acute and chronic rhinitis.
DOSING MODE
A small amount of ointment should be applied to the mucous membranes of the nasal passages 2-3 times / day. The course of treatment is 5-10 days.
SIDE EFFECT
Allergic reactions are possible.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
- early childhood (up to 2 years).
OVERDOSE
To date, no cases of overdose have been observed.
