PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

Combined preparation of plant origin.
The components of the drug Urolesan В® -M reduce inflammation in the urinary tract and kidneys, promote increased blood supply to the kidneys and liver, have a diuretic, antibacterial, choleretic effect, form a protective colloid in the urine and normalize the tone of the smooth muscles of the upper urinary tract and gallbladder.
Urolesan В® -M increases the release of urea and chlorides, promotes the excretion of small stones and sand from the bladder and kidneys.

PHARMACOKINETICS

The drug is well absorbed, its effect begins in 20-30 minutes and lasts 4-5 hours. The maximum effect occurs after 1-2 hours. It is excreted through the gastrointestinal tract and the kidneys.

INDICATIONS

- urolithic and cholelithiasis;

- a pyelonephritis;

- cholecystitis;

- biliary dyskinesia.

DOSING MODE

The drug is taken orally before meals.

Recommended doses for adults : 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) of syrup 3 times a day before meals.

In acute conditions (including renal and hepatic colic), the duration of the course of therapy is from 5 to 7 days, with chronic conditions - from 7 days to 1 month.
In case of renal and hepatic colic, a single dose can be increased to 2 teaspoons (10 ml), then for the subsequent reception return to the usual single dose (5 ml).
Recommended doses for children : 6-7 years - 2-4 ml 3 times a day;
7-14 years - 4-5 ml 3 times a day. Dosage is carried out with a syringe dispenser.
SIDE EFFECT

Allergic reactions, nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, heartburn.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

- gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum;

- age up to 6 years.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

It is not recommended to use the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding because of the lack of data on the safety of the drug in this category of patients.

APPLICATION FOR FUNCTIONS OF THE LIVER

It is indicated for urolithiasis and pyelonephritis.

APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN

Contraindicated in children under 6 years.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Do not apply the drug in case the diameter of the stones exceeds 3 mm.

Patients with diabetes mellitus, as well as patients with elevated levels of glucose in blood plasma should be cautious, using UrolesanВ®-M (the composition of the drug includes sugar syrup).
A single dose of the drug (5 ml) contains 0.38 carbohydrate units (4.5865 g sucrose).
Influence on ability to drive vehicles and work with mechanisms

During the period of application of the drug, care should be taken when carrying out potentially dangerous activities requiring special attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving, working with moving mechanisms).

OVERDOSE

Symptoms: nausea, dizziness.

Treatment: abundant warm drink, rest, activated charcoal, atropine sulfate (0.0005-0.001 g).

Store in a dark place at a temperature of 8 В° C to 15 В° C.
After opening, store no more than 28 days at a temperature of 8 В° C to 15 В° C. Keep out of the reach of children. Shelf life - 2 years.
