PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined drug, the properties of which are due to the components that make up its composition.
Metamizole sodium - NSAID, a derivative of pyrazolone, by the mechanism of action practically does not differ from other NSAIDs (nonselectively blocks COX and reduces the formation of prostaglandin from arachidonic acid). A distinctive feature is the slight severity of the anti-inflammatory effect, a weak effect on water-salt metabolism (sodium and water retention) and gastrointestinal mucosa. Has analgesic, antipyretic and some spasmolytic (with respect to the smooth muscles of the urinary and biliary tract) action.
Ibuprofen - NSAIDs; has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects due to the indiscriminate blockade of COX-1 and COX-2 and has an inhibitory effect on the synthesis of prostaglandins. Analgesic effect is most pronounced for inflammatory pains.
Caffeine - methylxanthine, which has a psychostimulating and analeptic effect, increases mental and physical performance, stimulates mental activity, motor activity, shortens the response time, temporarily reduces fatigue and drowsiness.
Phenobarbital - has a hypnotic, spasmolytic and miorelaksiruyuschee effect. In small doses has a sedative effect.
Codeine has a central antitussive effect (by suppressing the excitability of the cough center), as well as an analgesic effect caused by excitation of opiate receptors in various parts of the central nervous system and peripheral tissues, leading to stimulation of the antinociceptive system and changes in emotional perception of pain.
INDICATIONS
Pain syndrome (of mild and moderate intensity) of different genesis:

Catarrhal diseases - as a symptomatic therapy (including as an antipyretic drug):
- ARVI;

DOSING MODE
Inside, adults and children over 12 years - 1 tab. 1-3 times / day, washing with water. The maximum daily dose is 4 tablets.
Do not take more than 5 days as an anesthetic drug and more than 3 days - as an antipyretic without consulting a doctor. If the symptoms persist for 2-3 days, the treatment should be discontinued and consult a doctor.
SIDE EFFECT
Occur with prolonged (more than 2-3 days) application.
On the part of the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, heartburn, anorexia, discomfort in epigastrium, diarrhea, flatulence, impaired liver function.
From the side of the central nervous system : headache, dizziness, hearing loss, tinnitus, insomnia, agitation, drowsiness, depression.
From the cardiovascular system: heart failure, tachycardia.
From the urinary system: edematic syndrome, impaired renal function.
On the part of the hematopoiesis system: anemia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, leukopenia.
Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, hives, angioedema.
Other: bronchospasm, respiratory depression, sweating.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
