PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined drug, has antispasmodic, hypotensive, vasodilating effect.
Bendazole is an antispasmodic agent of myotropic action; has antihypertensive, vasodilating effect, stimulates the function of the spinal cord, has moderate immunostimulating activity.
Papaverine is an antispasmodic agent that has an antihypertensive effect. Inhibits phosphodiesterase, causes accumulation of cAMP in the cell and a decrease in calcium, lowers tone and relaxes the smooth muscles of the internal organs (gastrointestinal tract, respiratory and genitourinary system) and vessels. In large doses reduces the excitability of the heart muscle and slows intracardiac conduction. The effect on the central nervous system is poorly expressed (in large doses a sedative effect is exerted).
INDICATIONS
- arterial hypertension (labile);
- spasm of the peripheral arteries and vessels of the brain;
- spasm of smooth muscles of internal organs (including peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum, spasm of pylorus, intestinal colic, cholecystitis, spastic colitis);
- poliomyelitis (residual phenomena);
peripheral paralysis of the facial nerve.
DOSING MODE
Inside adults - 1-2 tab. 2-3 times / day.
SIDE EFFECT
From the digestive system: nausea, constipation.
From the side of the central nervous system: dizziness.
On the part of the cardiovascular system: AV-blockade, arrhythmias, decreased myocardial contractility.
Other: allergic reactions, increased sweating.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- violations of AV-conduction;
- epileptic syndrome;
- bronchoobstructive syndrome;
- Children's age up to 1 year;
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
With caution appoint with reduced peristalsis of the intestine, craniocerebral trauma, hepatic and / or renal insufficiency, hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, prostatic hyperplasia, pregnancy and lactation.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Caution is prescribed during pregnancy and lactation.
APPLICATION FOR FUNCTIONS OF THE LIVER
Contraindicated in renal failure.
APPLICATION FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE FUNCTION OF KIDNEYS
Contraindicated in liver failure.
APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN
Contraindicated in children under 1 year.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
The safety of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is not established.
DRUG INTERACTION
With the simultaneous use of the drug with antispasmodics, sedatives, diuretics, tricyclic antidepressants, procainamide, reserpine, quinidine, an increase in the severity of the hypotensive effect is possible.
Papazn weakens the effect of anticholinesterase drugs on smooth muscles (galantamine, proserin, physiostigmine).
Adsorbents, astringent and enveloping medicines reduce the absorption of the drug in the digestive tract.
