PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
A drug that improves tissue regeneration for external use. The active substance of the drug - dexpanthenol - in the body goes into pantothenic acid, which, being an integral part of coenzyme A, plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation, participates in carbohydrate, fat metabolism and in the synthesis of acetylcholine. Has some anti-inflammatory effect and improves tissue regeneration.
PHARMACOKINETICS
With external use, dexpanthenol is rapidly absorbed into the skin and converted to pantothenic acid. It binds to blood plasma proteins (mainly with beta-globulin and albumin).
INDICATIONS
- wounds, sun and thermal burns;
- bullous and bladder dermatitis;
- intertrigo;
- furuncles after opening and sanitation;
- aseptic postoperative wounds, poorly engrafted skin grafts;
- cracks in the skin, incl. treatment and prevention of cracks and inflammation of the nipples of the mammary glands during lactation;
- prevention and treatment of diaper rash in infants, activation of the healing process of the skin for minor lesions, erythema from diapers.
DOSING MODE
The drug is used 1 or several times a day by spraying from a distance of 10-20 cm so that the entire affected area is covered with the drug (foam). The length of the course of therapy depends on the severity of the disease.
SIDE EFFECT
Possible: skin allergic reactions.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
It is possible to use the drug Pantenolspray during pregnancy and lactation according to the indications.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Before spraying, the bottle should be shaken thoroughly.
When skin allergic reactions occur, the drug should be discontinued.
There are no restrictions on the use of the drug in the elderly.
The cylinder is under pressure. Keep away from direct sunlight and temperatures above 50 В° C. After the end of use, the can should not be opened and burned. Do not spray near naked flames or hot objects.
Use in Pediatrics
There are no restrictions on the use of the drug in children.
OVERDOSE
At present, cases of an overdose of Pantenolspray have not been reported.
