PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

Multivitamins.
Macrovite contains a complex of vitamins, which are involved in numerous biochemical processes of the body.
Vitamins of group B (B 1 / thiamine), B 2 (riboflavin), B 5 (pantothenic acid), B 6 (pyridoxine)
and P / nicotinamide /) are involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, the exchange of erythrocytes and the synthesis of neurotransmitters.
Vitamin A (retinol) is necessary for the biosynthesis of the photosensitive pigment of the retina.

Vitamin D (colcalciferol) regulates the absorption of calcium.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) promotes iron absorption and is involved in many oxidation-reduction processes in the body.

Vitamin E (tocopherol) is a physiological antioxidant that protects the cell membranes from damage, and preserves their functional activity.

INDICATIONS

Increased need for vitamins:

- with increased physical and / or mental stress;

- during intensive sports activities;

- with irregular and unbalanced diets (including dieting, seasonal lack of fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as a decreased appetite in elderly people, people with nicotine and alcohol dependence);

- during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

DOSING MODE

The drug is prescribed inside, after eating. The tablets should be kept in the mouth until completely dissolved or chewed.

Children aged 6 to 10 years are prescribed 1 tab.
1-2 times / day; adults and children over the age of 10 years - 1 tab. 2-3 times / day.
The course of treatment is 20-30 days.
Repeated course is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.
SIDE EFFECT

Allergic reactions are possible .

Prolonged use of the drug in large doses can lead to hypervitaminosis A and D.

Macrovite contains glycerol, which in high doses can cause headache, digestive system disorders (diarrhea).

The patient should be informed that in case of allergic reactions, it is necessary to stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- hypervitaminosis A and D;

- children's age till 6 years;

- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

The drug should not be taken to patients with glucose / galactose malabsorption syndrome, lactase or sucrose / isomaltase deficiency, and congenital intolerance to fructose.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

During pregnancy and during breastfeeding, taking Macrotit is possible only on the advice of a doctor.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Admission of the drug in children under the age of 14 is possible only on the advice of a doctor.

Do not exceed the recommended dose of the drug.

Macroevite contains an azo dye E 110, which can cause a hypersensitivity reaction with an asthmatic component.
Similar reactions are more often observed in patients with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid.
It is possible to stain the urine yellow, which is harmless and is explained by the presence of riboflavin in the preparation.

Macrovite contains glycerol, which can cause headache, as well as gastrointestinal dyspepsia.

Macrovite contains a polyol, which in some cases can cause diarrhea.

Patients with diabetes can take Macrovit, but it should be noted that 1 tablet contains 610 mg of sucrose and 150 mg of glucose, and the daily dose of 0.61-1.8 g of sucrose and 0.15-0.45 g of glucose.

The preparation contains 187 mg of lactose, 614 mg of sucrose, 150 mg of glucose and 131 mg of sorbitol, so the drug is not recommended for children with congenital intolerance to glucose and fructose, with glucose malabsorption / galactose syndrome and sugarase / isomaltase deficiency.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and manage mechanisms

The unfavorable influence of the Macroth on the ability to drive and work with machinery has not been reported.

OVERDOSE

Prolonged intake of the drug in very high doses can lead to hypervitaminosis of vitamins A and D, however, the probability of an overdose of Macrovit is minimal.

DRUG INTERACTION

It is not recommended simultaneous reception with other multivitamin complexes in order to avoid an overdose.

The drug is approved for use as a means of OTC.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STORAGE

The drug should be stored out of reach of children, dry and protected from light at a temperature of no higher than 25 В° C.
