PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Has a laxative effect, due to the presence of antraglikozidov, causing irritation of receptors of the mucous membrane of the large intestine. Laxative effect occurs after 8-12 hours after taking the drug.
INDICATIONS
Chronic constipation.
DOSING MODE
3 filter packs (6.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, close and insist for 15 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 100 ml with boiled water.
Adults and children over 12 years old are taken in the form of heat in the form of 112 glasses at night and in the morning. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.
Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
SIDE EFFECT
Possible allergic reactions (skin rash), a feeling of discomfort in the abdomen (flatulence, spastic pain, nausea).
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to the drug, constipation of neurogenic and endocrine origin, spastic constipation, intestinal obstruction, acute abdominal syndrome, appendicitis, enteritis, colitis, metrorrhagia, acute febrile conditions. Pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, children under 12 years.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Contraindicated in pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN
Contraindicated in children under 12 years.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
With prolonged use of the drug buckthorn can develop addiction and weakening or lack of laxative effect, so it is advisable to alternate them with other laxatives. It is possible to stain the urine yellow, not requiring withdrawal of the drug.
OVERDOSE
Colic pain in the abdomen, tenesmus, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Treatment: symptomatic.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STORAGE
In a dry place protected from light; cooked infusion - in a cool place not more than 2 days. Keep out of the reach of children.
Shelf life - 5 years. Do not use after the expiration date.
