PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Has hepatoprotective effect - reduces toxic damage to the liver, development of fatty degeneration in hepatocytes and fibrotic changes in the liver parenchyma, inhibits destructive and stimulates reparative processes in the liver. It has antioxidant and antihypoxic activity, which, apparently, underlies the mechanism of hepatoprotective action of the drug. Helps reduce liver damage associated with liver damage: inhibits the increase in cholesterol levels, triglycerides in the blood, increases the reduced content of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, prevents the peroxidation of atherogenic (apo-containing) lipoproteins.

INDICATIONS
- toxic (medicinal) steatohepatitis;
- fatty liver degeneration (secondary non-alcoholic steatohepatitis) in the phase of moderate or subsiding exacerbation (as part of complex therapy).
DOSING MODE
Inside adults for 20-40 drops for 10-15 minutes before meals 2-3 times a day.
Duration of treatment is 3 weeks. An increase in the duration and conduct of repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.
SIDE EFFECT
Allergic reactions are possible.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
- pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding;

The preparation contains at least 65% ethanol. In a single dose of the drug (20-40 drops) contains up to 0.44 grams of absolute ethyl alcohol, in a maximum daily dose (120 drops) to 1.32 grams of absolute ethyl alcohol. During treatment, due to the presence of ethanol, caution should be exercised in potentially potentially dangerous activities that require an increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including when driving vehicles, working with moving mechanisms).
OVERDOSE
When using the drug in doses exceeding the recommended, you may have a headache, nausea, vomiting.
Treatment: symptomatic.
DRUG INTERACTION
With the simultaneous use of Kedrostat with lipid-lowering agents of systemic action (nicotinic acid, cholesterol biosynthesis blockers, fibrates), an increase in lipid-lowering effect is possible.
