Contains triterpene saponins - glycosides AF; triterpene alcohols - monools, diols, triols; flavonoids, including isoramnetin and quercetin glycosides; hydroxycoumarins, including scopoletin, umbelliferone, esculetin; kartonoidy - lutein, tsezaksantin; essential oils - alpha-cadinol, T-cadinol, fatty acids; water-soluble polysaccharides - ramanoarabinogalactans, arabinogalactans. Has anti-inflammatory effect, reduces the permeability of capillaries. Due to the presence of terpenic alkaloids, lactone and flavones have antimicrobial activity.
It helps to increase the metabolic function of the liver (bile composition improves, bilirubin and cholesterol concentration decreases), increases secretory and excretory functions, stimulates reparative processes in the digestive tract.
