PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Antiviral drug, has anti-inflammatory, immunostimulating and interferonogenic action.
The greatest activity is manifested in the tick-borne encephalitis virus.
INDICATIONS
- tick-borne encephalitis (treatment and prevention in adults).
DOSING MODE
Inside, after eating. For the treatment of tick-borne encephalitis : in the first 2 days - 0.3 g 3 times / day; on the third and fourth days - 0.2 g 3 times / day; in the next 5 days - 0.1 g 3 times / day.
Prophylactically, in case of tick sucking, according to the same scheme as in the treatment; in cases of possible sucking of ticks - 0.2 g for the entire period of stay in places associated with the risk of infection with tick-borne encephalitis. Yodantipirin is also prescribed for 0.2 g 3 times / day for 2 days before visiting places associated with the possibility of sucking ticks. In focal forms of tick-borne encephalitis, a specific Ig is prescribed at the beginning according to the usual scheme, and after 2-3 days it is prescribed according to the above scheme. Jointly, iodantipyrine and anti-malignant Ig are not used.
