PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Angioprotective agent, bioflavonoid. It has a venotonic effect, improves lymphatic drainage, improves microcirculation, reduces adhesion of leukocytes to the venous wall and their migration into parainous tissues, improves diffusion of oxygen and perfusion in skin tissue, and has anti-inflammatory effect. It blocks the production of free radicals, the synthesis of prostaglandins and thromboxane.
PHARMACOKINETICS
Quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, found in the plasma 2 hours after ingestion. C max in blood plasma is achieved after 5 hours after administration.Evenly distributed in all layers of the wall of the hollow veins and subcutaneous veins of the lower limbs, to a lesser extent - in the veins of the kidneys, liver, lungs and other tissues. The selective accumulation of diosmin and / or its metabolites in venous vessels reaches a maximum 9 hours after ingestion and persists for 96 hours. It is excreted in the urine - 79%, with feces - 11%, with bile - 2.4%.
INDICATIONS
Varicose veins of the lower extremities, chronic lymphovenous insufficiency of the lower limbs, hemorrhoids, microcirculation disorders.
DOSING MODE
Is taken internally. Depending on the indications, the daily dose is 600-1800 mg. The duration of use depends on the indications and treatment regimen.
SIDE EFFECT
From the digestive system: indigestion.
From the side of the central nervous system: a headache.
Other: in rare cases - allergic reactions (requiring a break in treatment).
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Children and adolescence under 18, lactation (breastfeeding), hypersensitivity to diosmine.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
