PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined preparation of plant origin. Valerian rhizome with roots has a sedative and spasmolytic effect. Facilitates the onset of natural sleep. Sedation is slow, but fairly stable. Has a choleretic effect, increases the secretion of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, slows down the heart rhythm, dilates the coronary vessels. The influence on the activity of the heart is mediated through neuroregulatory mechanisms and a direct influence on automatism and the conduction system of the heart. Wormwood bitter herb has a choleretic effect, increases appetite, stimulates acid production. Belladonna leaf has m-holinoblokiruyuschim and spasmolytic effect; reduces the secretion of salivary, gastric, bronchial, lacrimal, sweat glands, pancreas. Reduces the tone of the smooth muscles of the digestive tract, bile duct and gallbladder; causes tachycardia, improves AV conduction. It dilates the pupils, hinders the outflow of the intraocular fluid, increases the intraocular pressure, causes paralysis of accommodation. Peppermint leaves sedative, moderate spasmolytic, choleretic, antiemetic and locally irritating (irritating nerve endings of mucous membranes) action.
INDICATIONS
Increased excitability, insomnia, VSD, spasm of the digestive tract, renal and biliary colic, decreased appetite, hypo- and anacid gastritis; chronic cholecystitis;dyskinesia biliary tract, nausea, vomiting.
DOSING MODE
Inside, 20-30 drops 3-4 times a day; children - 1 cap for each year of life.
SIDE EFFECT
Allergic reactions; heartburn, gastralgia, diarrhea, drowsiness, depression, decreased performance.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity, hyperacid gastritis, peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum.
