PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
The tincture of valerian shows a moderately pronounced sedative effect. The active principle of the preparation is borneol ester and isovaleric acid, free valeric acid.Sedation is slow, but fairly stable. In addition, the drug has an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract.
INDICATIONS
- increased nervous excitability;
- Insomnia;
- Functional disorders of the cardiovascular system;
- spasms of the gastrointestinal tract.
DOSING MODE
Take in, before eating, bred in a small amount of water. Adults 20 to 30 drops per reception 3-4 times a day, children - as many drops per reception as a child years.
SIDE EFFECT
Slackness, weakness (especially when used in high doses), with prolonged use - constipation. In some cases, the development of allergic reactions is possible.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
