Excipients: sucrose, starch, talc, calcium stearate.

Ingredients of enteric coating: cellacephate.

PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

The vaccine causes in vaccinated the development of anti-cholera immunity lasting up to 6 months.

INDICATIONS

Prevention of cholera in adults, adolescents and children from 2 years of age.

Inoculations are subject to:

- persons traveling to countries unfavorable for cholera (in agreement with the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare);

- the population of the border regions of Russia in the event of an unfavorable situation in the adjacent territory on the cholera (by the decision of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare).

DOSING MODE

One inoculation dose of the drug is for adults - 3 tablets, adolescents 11-17 years - 2 tablets, children 2-10 years - 1 tablet.

Tablets of a cholera vaccine are taken orally 1 h before meals, swallowing whole, without chewing, washing 1/8 - 1/4 cup of boiled water.

Revaccination is performed 6-7 months after vaccination;
The dose for adults and teenagers is 2 tablets, for children 2-10 years - 1 tablet.
A vaccine whose package integrity is damaged or missing information on labels, with a changed appearance of tablets (integrity disorder, discoloration), with expired shelf life, is not to be taken for use.

The drug can be taken simultaneously (on the same day) with the introduction of inactivated vaccines of the National calendar of preventive vaccinations and the calendar of preventive vaccinations for epidemiological indications (with the exception of rabies vaccines and BCG vaccine).

Precautions for use

It is not recommended to combine the reception of cholera vaccine tablets with the introduction of rabies vaccines and BCG vaccine.

SIDE EFFECT

In 1-2 hours after taking the vaccine, some grafts may develop weak unpleasant sensations in the epigastric region, rumbling in the abdomen, a mushy stool.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- acute infectious and non-infectious diseases, including intestinal dysfunction, chronic diseases in the acute stage;
Inoculations are given no earlier than 1 month after recovery (remission);
- malignant neoplasms and malignant diseases of the blood;

- immunodeficiency states;

- Pregnancy.

In order to identify contraindications, the doctor (paramedic) spends on the day of vaccination a survey and examination of vaccinated patients with mandatory thermometry.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

Contraindicated in pregnancy.

APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN

Children under the age of 2 are subject to vaccination.

DRUG INTERACTION

Interaction with other drugs has not been established.
