PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined drug.
Chondroitin sulfate accelerates the synthesis of proteoglycans, slows the resorption of bone tissue, reduces the loss of calcium, normalizes metabolism in hyaline tissue. Accelerates the restoration of bone tissue, inhibits the process of degeneration of cartilaginous tissue, stimulates the regeneration of articular cartilage and affected intervertebral discs. Has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Diclofenac - NSAIDs, oppresses COX-1 and COX-2, disrupts the metabolism of arachidonic acid and the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are the main link in the development of inflammation. Possesses pronounced analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Dimethyl sulfoxide penetrates through biological membranes (including through the skin), has a moderate antiseptic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
PHARMACOKINETICS
It penetrates well through the skin, accumulates in the underlying tissues.
INDICATIONS
- post-traumatic inflammation of soft tissues and joints;
- Pain syndrome and puffiness associated with the disease of muscles and joints (including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis, sciatica, lumbago, sciatica, degenerative diseases of the joints and spine).
DOSING MODE
External, apply to the skin 3-4 g (5-6 cm strip, squeezed out of the tube) 2-3 times / day, rubbed until completely absorbed for 2-3 minutes. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. If necessary, repeat the treatment.
SIDE EFFECT
Allergic reactions: urticaria, angioedema, bronchospasm.
Local reactions: eczema, contact dermatitis (itching, redness, swelling, papular and vesicular rash, peeling).
Other: generalized skin rash, photosensitivity.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- hypersensitivity (including to acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs);
- bronchial asthma in combination with polyposis of the nasal mucosa;
- violation of the integrity of the skin at the site of the intended application;
- pregnancy (III trimester);
- lactation period;
- Children's age (up to 12 years).
With caution: hepatic porphyria (exacerbation), erosive and ulcerative lesions of the digestive tract, severe hepatic insufficiency, chronic renal failure, chronic heart failure, bronchial asthma, elderly age, pregnancy (I and II trimester).
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Contraindications: pregnancy (III trimester); lactation period.
C with caution: pregnancy (I and II trimester).
APPLICATION FOR FUNCTIONS OF THE LIVER
With caution: CRF.
APPLICATION FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE FUNCTION OF KIDNEYS
With caution: hepatic porphyria (exacerbation), severe hepatic impairment.
APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN
Contraindication - children's age (up to 12 years).
APPLICATION IN ELDERLY PATIENTS
With caution: the elderly.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Ointment must be applied to intact skin; Do not apply an occlusive dressing. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
