PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Means for fluorescent angiography and angioscopy in ophthalmology.
Yellow-green fluorescence of the active substance makes it possible to delineate the area of ​​vascularization from surrounding tissues to improve visualization.
INDICATIONS
Diagnostic angiography or angioscopy in ophthalmology.

DOSING MODE
Introduce iv in a special technique.
Visualization of the vessels of the retina and choroidal vessels can be carried out 9 and 14 minutes after administration.
SIDE EFFECT
Nausea, headache, gastrointestinal disturbances, syncope, vomiting, urticaria, arterial hypotension, cardiac arrest, bronchospasm, basilar artery ischemia, shock, seizures, thrombophlebitis at the injection site, in some cases - death.

When extravasation, severe pain occurs at the injection site and dull pain in the corresponding limb can occur.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to fluorescein.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
It is necessary to avoid angiography during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester.
The safety of fluorescein during pregnancy has not been studied. Fluorescein is excreted in breast milk. Use with caution during lactation.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
It is intended only for intravenous administration and diagnostic procedures in ophthalmology.

Use with caution in patients with a history of allergic reactions, bronchospasm.

Avoid extravasation during the injection.
Due to extravasation, necrosis of the skin, superficial phlebitis, subcutaneous granuloma, toxic neuritis in the area of ​​injection are possible. With considerable extravasation, the injection should be discontinued.
