Vitamin B group.

Vitamin B 1 is a coenzyme of the most important enzymes - transaldolase and transketolase, which catalyze mainly the processes of carbohydrate metabolism, has a positive effect on the conduct of nervous excitation by affecting the polarization in the region of neuromuscular synapses.
It plays an important role in the carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism, protects the cell membranes from the toxic effects of peroxidation products.
PHARMACOKINETICS

Suction

Absorption is high, throughout the small intestine.
Before the absorption of thiamine, chloride is released from the bound state by digestive enzymes. In the blood, the concentration of thiamine chloride is comparatively low.
Distribution

In plasma, mainly free thiamine is found, in erythrocytes and leukocytes - its phosphoric esters.
Half of the total is contained in transversely striated muscles (including myocardium) and about 40% in internal organs.
Metabolism

Phosphorylation occurs in the liver.
The most active phosphoric ester is thiamine diphosphate, which has coenzyme activity. It accumulates mainly in the liver, heart, brain, kidneys, spleen.
Excretion

It is excreted through the intestines and kidneys.
