PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Analogue of vasopressin. Has an effect similar to that of the hormone of the posterior lobe of the pituitary (vasopressin). It is a synthetic polypeptide, which is an inactive prodrug and biotransformed in the body into lipressin, which is a synthetic analogue of vasopressin. Lipressin increases the tone of the smooth muscles of blood vessels and the gastrointestinal tract, causes vasoconstrictive and haemostatic effects.
INDICATIONS

DOSING MODE
