PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Analogue of vasopressin.
Has an effect similar to that of the hormone of the posterior lobe of the pituitary (vasopressin). It is a synthetic polypeptide, which is an inactive prodrug and biotransformed in the body into lipressin, which is a synthetic analogue of vasopressin. Lipressin increases the tone of the smooth muscles of blood vessels and the gastrointestinal tract, causes vasoconstrictive and haemostatic effects.
INDICATIONS
Bleeding from the digestive tract, organs of the urinary and reproductive system.

Weakness of labor.

DOSING MODE
Enter in / m, iv, paratservikalno, intracervikalno.
The dose is set individually, depending on the clinical situation.
SIDE EFFECT
From the digestive system: increased intestinal peristalsis, intestinal colic, eructation, nausea.

On the part of the reproductive system: increased contractility of the uterus.

On the part of the respiratory system: dyspnea, bronchospasm.

From the cardiovascular system: increased blood pressure, bradycardia, the development of myocardial infarction, heart failure.

Other: pallor of the skin, necrosis at the injection site.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
I trimester of pregnancy, toxicoses of pregnant women, epilepsy, hypersensitivity to terlipressin.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy, with toxicoses of pregnant women.

APPLICATION IN ELDERLY PATIENTS
Use with caution in the elderly.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
They are used with caution in patients with IHD, severe arterial hypertension and heart rhythm disturbances, bronchial asthma, in the elderly.

DRUG INTERACTION
When used simultaneously with oxytocin and methylergometrin, there is an increase in the contraction of the smooth muscles of the uterus and vessels.

Enhances the hypotensive effect of beta-blockers.

With simultaneous use with drugs that reduce heart rate, the risk of developing severe bradycardia increases.
