zinc arginyl-glycinate dihydrochloride (in terms of arginyl-glycinate) 180 mg
* Prostatilen В® is a prostatic extract supplemented with glycine.
Excipients: paraffin liquid - 60 mg, fat solid (Vitessol or Estaram, brand W35) - a sufficient amount to obtain a suppository weighing 1.9 g.

Note: raw materials for the production of Prostatilen В® are obtained from farms in which there are no animal diseases of viral, prion, bacterial and mycoplasmal etiology.

PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
An animal of animal origin. Has an organotropic effect on the prostate gland. Reduces the degree of edema, leukocyte infiltration of the prostate, normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the number of lecithin grains in the secretion of the acini, stimulates the muscle tone of the bladder. Reduces thrombus formation, has antiaggregant activity, prevents the development of venous thrombosis in the prostate gland.
Has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant effect, reduces pain syndrome.
It increases the level of free testosterone, an increase in the number of progressive-mobile forms of spermatozoa and their morphologically normal forms. It causes a decrease in the level of antisperm antibodies. Normalizes the male copulatory function.
PHARMACOKINETICS
Peptides of the prostate extract in tissues are cleaved by cellular proteases to amino acids that participate in the synthesis of tissue-protein proteins and other biologically active compounds. The chelated zinc complex of arginyl-glycinate dihydrochloride is split into zinc, arginine and glycine with their subsequent metabolism.
The drug has no cumulative effect.
INDICATIONS
- chronic abacterial prostatitis, incl. with a violation of spermatogenesis and erectile function;
- condition before and after surgical interventions on the prostate gland;
benign prostatic hyperplasia.
DOSING MODE
Suppositories enter rectally for 1 pc. 1 time / day.
The suppository is injected deep into the anus after a defecation or cleansing enema. After the administration of the suppository, the patient is recommended to rest in the supine position for 30 minutes for better absorption of the drug components.
The course of treatment is not less than 10 days. The maximum duration of treatment is 20 days. The repeated course is possible not earlier than 4 weeks after the end of the previous one.
The drug should be used only according to the indicated method of use in the recommended doses.
SIDE EFFECT
Possible: short-term itching and burning in the rectum, passing alone and not requiring the appointment of additional therapy; allergic reactions; loosening of the chair.
If any of the above side effects are aggravated, or if there are any other side effects not listed in the instructions, the patient should notify the doctor.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
- Children under 18 years.
Use with caution in patients with acute inflammatory diseases of the rectum and perianal region, such as hemorrhoids (external and internal), anal fissures, paraproctitis, inflammation of epithelial coccygeal passages, etc.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
The drug is not prescribed to women.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
During the use of the drug is not recommended to use laxatives and funds for cleaning the intestine before conducting diagnostic tests.
The drug has no specific action upon first intake and when it is withdrawn and special actions the doctor and patient does not require.
Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and manage mechanisms
The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.
OVERDOSE
There were no cases of overdose of Prostatilen В® .
DRUG INTERACTION
Possible simultaneous use with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs.

The drug should be stored out of the reach of children at a temperature of 2 В° to 15 В° C. Shelf life - 3 years.
