Description of the drug approved by the manufacturer for the printed edition of 2013.

The mechanism of action of the drug is determined by vitamins and minerals that make up its composition, which take part in the regulation of metabolic processes and the normalization of trophic tissue, the formation of enzymes and structural components of tissues, the normal functioning of the organs and systems of the body.

Retinol (vitamin A) is involved in the synthesis of proteins, lipids, mucopolysaccharides, is necessary for normal eye function.

Thiamine (vitamin B 1 ) is necessary for the synthesis of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.

Riboflavin (vitamin B 2 ) is involved in the processes of biological oxidation and energy metabolism.

Pyridoxine (vitamin B 6 ) is involved in carbohydrate, lipid and protein metabolism.
Disturbance of metabolism and reduction of pyridoxine hydrochloride in the body occurs with prolonged intake of women of childbearing age by oral contraceptives.
Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B 12 ) is involved in the synthesis of nucleic acids, affecting the processes of hematopoiesis.
Disturbance of metabolism and reduction of cyanocobalamin in the body occurs with prolonged intake of women of childbearing age by oral contraceptives.
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) participates in the oxidation of biologically active substances, regulates metabolism in connective tissue, carbohydrate metabolism, stimulates the formation of steroid hormones, increases absorption of iron in the intestine.

Alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E) is a natural antioxidant, supports the stability of cell membranes, protecting them from damage.

Folic acid (vitamin B 9 ) stimulates erythropoiesis, participates in the synthesis of amino acids, nucleic acids.

Biotin (vitamin B 7 , vitamin H) is a part of the enzymes that regulate protein and fat metabolism, is involved in the synthesis of glucokinase.

Betakaroten - an antioxidant from the group of carotenoids - natural retinol-like substances.
Beta-carotene has pronounced antioxidant properties and protects cells from damage by active oxygen and free radicals (fixing active oxygen, interrupting chain free radical reactions and protecting macromolecules and biomembranes of the cell from damage, thereby increasing the body's resistance to various pathogenic effects). It is also a precursor of vitamin A.
Magnesium is a cofactor of many enzymes, it is necessary to maintain the homeostasis of calcium, potassium and sodium.

Zinc is part of many enzyme systems, provides the synthesis of insulin and other hormones, is necessary for tissue regeneration, is involved in the metabolism and stabilization of cell membranes.

Selenium - a microelement that is part of all cells of the body, the most important element of antioxidant protection, has an immunomodulatory effect, participates in the regulation of the action of thyroid hormones

Hypovitaminosis and lack of macro- and microelements (prevention and treatment).

Conditions associated with increased demand for vitamins and minerals:

- Inadequate and unbalanced nutrition;

- intense mental and physical activity;

- Antibiotic therapy;

- period of recovery after the transferred diseases;

- long-term intake of oral contraceptives by women of childbearing age).

Inside, after breakfast, not liquid, squeezed a little water.

Adults - 1 tablet a day.
The duration of the drug is 30 days. Repeated courses - on the advice of a doctor.

Allergic reactions: possibly - hives.

From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, diarrhea or constipation, discomfort in the epigastrium, which do not require drug withdrawal, are possible.

- Vitamin A hypervitaminosis;

- deficiency of lactase;

lactose intolerance;

- glucose-galactose malabsorption;

- children's age till 18 years;

- increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

With caution: use with severe liver damage, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.

Contraindicated in pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Use with caution in severe liver damage.

Contraindicated in children under 18 years.

It is possible to stain urine in intense yellow, which is explained by the presence of riboflavin in the preparation.

Do not take simultaneously with other vitamin preparations (increased risk of overdose).

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and perform work that requires increased concentration

Does not affect the management of vehicles and performance of works requiring increased concentration of attention.

If the above dose of the drug is exceeded, the symptoms of retinol hypervitaminosis are clinically significant.

Symptoms of overdose: severe headache, dizziness, facial hyperemia, nausea, vomiting, loss of heart rate, vision impairment is possible.

Treatment : gastric lavage, ingestion of activated charcoal.

Vitamin C enhances the effect and side effects of antimicrobial agents from the group of sulfonamides (including the appearance of crystals in the urine).

Vitamin B 6 reduces the severity of the action of levodopa.

If it is necessary to take other medications in combination with Lavita, an interval of about 2 hours should be observed between the intake.
