This information is a reference and it is not enough that the drug has been prescribed by a doctor ..

Stimulator of gonadotropin production.
Means with anti-estrogenic and estrogenic activity. Has a non-steroidal structure that is close to chlorotriazine. It is believed that the action of clomiphene is due to specific binding to the estrogen receptors of the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, which increases the secretion of gonadotropic hormones in the pituitary gland. This, in turn, stimulates the maturation and endocrine activity of the follicle in the ovary, as well as the subsequent formation and stimulation of the function of the yellow body. In high doses inhibits the secretion of gonadotropins. Does not possess gestagenic and androgenic activity.
Clomiphene is rapidly absorbed from the digestive tract.

Undergoes intestinal-hepatic recirculation.

T 1/2 is 5 days.
It is excreted mainly with feces - 42% and about 8% with urine.
To stimulate ovulation infertility due to secondary ovarian hypofunction, mainly due to functional hypothalamic-pituitary disorders;
functional uterine bleeding;secondary amenorrhea or pronounced oligomenorrhoea; polycystic ovary syndrome (of the Stein-Levental type); androgen insufficiency; in men - oligospermia.
Is taken internally.
Single dose - 50 mg. Multiplicity of admission is determined individually, depending on the indications, treatment regimen and the effectiveness of therapy.

Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindicated in violations of liver function.

Applied only with preserved function of the ovaries.
When a symptom of ovarian hyperstimulation or other side effects appears on the background of treatment, correction of the dosing regimen is necessary.
