PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Laxative means of plant origin. When ingested, it is hydrolyzed by lipase in the small intestine to form ricinoleic acid, which causes irritation of the intestinal receptors (throughout its entire length) and reflex enhancement of peristalsis. The laxative effect occurs after 5-6 hours. It also causes a reflex reduction of the myometrium.
INDICATIONS
For oral administration:
- Constipation.
For external use in ointments, balms:
- burns;
- wounds;
- ulcers;
- dry skin;
- dandruff;
- to strengthen the hair.
DOSING MODE
Inside, adults are prescribed 15-30 grams of butter or 15-30 capsules, children - 5-15 grams of butter or 5-10 capsules. Capsules are taken within 30 minutes.
SIDE EFFECT
Atony of the intestine (with prolonged admission).
CONTRAINDICATIONS
hypersensitivity;
- poisoning with fat-soluble substances (phosphorus, benzene, etc.), male fern extract;
- Acute abdomen syndrome.
APPLICATION IN ELDERLY PATIENTS

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
As a laxative, do not use more than 3 days.
