PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

Valocordin - a combined drug, the therapeutic effect of which is due to the pharmacological properties of the components that make up its composition.
Phenobarbital has sedative and vasodilating effect, and also has a mild hypnotic effect. Helps reduce the excitation of the central nervous system and facilitates the onset of natural sleep.
Ethyl bromizovalerianate has a sedative, hypnotic and spasmolytic effect.

INDICATIONS

- Functional disorders of the cardiovascular system (including cardialgia, sinus tachycardia);

- neuroses accompanied by irritability, anxiety, fear;

- Insomnia (difficulty falling asleep);

- Excitation conditions, accompanied by pronounced vegetative reactions.

DOSING MODE

Valokordin is taken orally, before meals, with a small amount of liquid.
Dosage is set individually.
Adults usually appoint 15-20 drops 3 times / day.

With disturbed sleep, the dose can be increased to 30 drops.

The duration of the drug is determined individually by the doctor.

SIDE EFFECT

Valocordin В® , as a rule, is well tolerated even with prolonged use.

OVERDOSE

DRUG INTERACTION

With the simultaneous use of Valocordinum with sedatives, the effect is markedly enhanced.

Simultaneous use with neuroleptics and tranquilizers increases, and with stimulants of the CNS - weakens the effect of each of the components of the drug.

Alcohol enhances the effects of Valocordin and can increase its toxicity.

The presence of phenocarbital in Valocordin can induce liver enzymes, and this makes it undesirable to use it simultaneously with drugs that are metabolized in the liver, as their concentration, and accordingly, the effectiveness will decrease as a result of more accelerated metabolism (indirect anticoagulants, antibiotics, sulfonamides, etc.). .

Phenobarbital weakens the action of coumarin derivatives, GCS, griseofulvin, oral contraceptives.
