Description of the drug approved by the manufacturer for the printed edition of 2005.


Antiparasitic drug for external use.
It is active against scabies mites, as well as lice.

- Treatment of scabies.


The course of treatment lasts 4 days.

Adults are prescribed 20% ointment, and children - 10%.

The first day of treatment is carried out in the evening before going to bed after a thorough washing under the shower with warm water and soap.
The ointment is rubbed into the skin of the hands, then the trunk and legs, including soles and fingers. After skin treatment, use only clean clothes and clothes.
On the 2 nd and 3 rd days, they take a break in treatment, while the remains of the ointment are not washed off the skin.
On the 4th day in the evening the patient is washed with soap and rubs the ointment as on the first day, using the remaining ointment and changing all the linen once more.
Hand after treatment should not be washed for 3 hours;
in the subsequent hands are treated with ointment after each wash.
If the emulsion is washed off from other skin areas, they must also be re-treated.
The ointment is completely rinsed off the skin on the fifth day of treatment.
Treatment of complicated scabies (dermatitis, eczema, pyoderma, post-scabiosis lymphoplasia) should be carried out simultaneously with the treatment of scabies and continue after its completion.


Local reactions: possible (especially in children) sensation of burning, irritation of the skin.


- use of children under 3 years is not recommended;

It is not recommended to use pregnant women and during lactation.

Treatment of patients identified in one focus, as well as contact persons, should be carried out simultaneously in order to avoid re-infection.

Preservation of itching after treatment is not an indication for the appointment of an additional course of specific therapy.
Itching is a reaction of the body to the killed tick and the products of its vital activity and disappears when prescribing antihistamines and corticosteroid ointments.
After treatment, medical control is necessary for 2 weeks, and in the presence of complications and a longer time.

Avoid getting the drug on mucous membranes;
there is a strong burning sensation. Young children after the dressing are put on a pajamas with sewn up sleeves.
All linens, etc., that come into contact with the infected skin, should be subjected to careful processing.
Bedding, towels, bed linens are boiled in a solution of detergent for 5-10 minutes.
The outer clothing is ironed on both sides with a hot iron.

Things not subject to heat treatment are hung in open air for 3 days.

Shoes, toys and other items are excluded from use for 5 days and placed in a cellophane bag.

Mattresses, pillows, blankets are also excluded from use for 5 days or are subjected to chamber disinfection.

Upholstered furniture can be treated with preparations for pest control.

The apartment must be cleaned, washed floors with detergents or the addition of disinfectants.

Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth.

If the product gets into the mouth: rinse abundantly with water or 2% solution of warm baking soda and ensure peace.

If the product gets into the stomach: the stomach is washed with 1-2% solution of drinking soda, an aqueous mixture of burnt magnesia and activated carbon or an aqueous mixture of crushed chalk (2 tablespoons per 1 liter of water), then give a mixture of 1-2 table spoons of activated charcoal and burnt magnesia in a glass of water, then take a salt laxative (you can not give castor oil!).

If the product gets into the eyes: rinse thoroughly with water or baking soda;
When irritating the mucous membrane of the eye, 30% solution of sulfanilamide (Albucida) is instilled behind the eyelid, while pain - 2% solution of procaine (novocain).
If signs of skin irritation appear, the use of the drug ceases.
