PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
An expectorant of plant origin. The effect is due to the presence of volatile components of essential oil of rosemary - palustrol, ice, which, exuding through the bronchi, have a mildly local irritant effect on the mucous membranes, enhance the secretion of the bronchial glands and increase the activity of the ciliary epithelium of the respiratory tract. Ledum marsh has a spasmolytic effect on the smooth muscles of the bronchi, has anti-inflammatory, as well as diuretic and antimicrobial activity. It has an exciting effect on the central nervous system.
INDICATIONS
Acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases, accompanied by cough.
DOSING MODE
Take inside as a prepared infusion (10 g of raw material per 200 ml of water) in 1/3 - 1/2 cup 2-3 times / day.
SIDE EFFECT
From the side of the central nervous system: irritability, dizziness, increased excitability; when taken in high doses - pronounced excitation, and in severe cases, CNS depression.
