VARFARIN (Warfarin).

     3-(? - Atsetonilbenzil) -4 - oksikumarin.

     Suppress synthesis of vitamin K-dependent blood clotting factors (II, VII, IX, X) in the liver.

     Completely absorbed in the digestive tract, T? at 40 h; biotransformation are in the liver, kidneys displayed.

     Applied to prevent brain and emboly : thrombosis in veins and peripheral arteries, pulmonary embolism, IBS with chronic predserdy oils, as well as prosthetic valves in the heart and vessels.

     Assign inwards from 0.01 g (10 mg), 1 per day for 1-2 days, then 0,005-0,0075 g (5-7,5 mg) a day. STEP is 3-5 since the beginning of the day and lasts 3-5 days after termination.

     Possible side effects : bleeding, rarely vaskulit, diarrhea, increased activity of liver enzymes, eczema, Alopecia.

     The drug is contraindicated in acute krovotecheniyah expressed violations of the liver and kidney, heavy blood pressure, pregnancy and breastfeeding.

     Antikoagulyantny effect reinforce acetylsalicylic acid and other NPVS, dipiridamol, heparin, simvastatin and weaken laxatives, holestiramin, paracetamol (in high doses), vitamin C (antagonist).

     Product : pills to 0.0025 g (2.5 mg) (N 50, 100).
