TENIPOZID (Teniposide).

     Synonym : Vumon, Vumon.

     A white crystalline powder with a grey and yellow tint. Nerastvorim water well soluble in fat.

     Semi podofillotoksina derivative. The structure is close to etopozidu. Instead of methyl groups (CH3) in position 2 contains tienilnuyu group.

     Like etopozidu has cytostatic activity (antitumor).

     When applied in light of cancer, stomach, bladder, neyroblastome, brain tumors (in combination with radiation therapy), lymphoma, acute leukemia limfoblastnom, chlamydia and other tumors.

     Enter intravenously and in the bladder.

     Intravenous appoint 50-80 mg / m 2 for 5 days with 2-week intervals, or 100 mg / m 2 in 1.2 and third days every 3 weeks, or 130-150 mg / m 2 1 day a week (children) during 4 weeks.

     In the bladder to be 0.05 g (50 mg) in 50 ml of 0.9% solution of sodium chloride.

     There are nausea, vomiting, radiation, thrombocytopenia, Alopecia (reversible), disruption of the liver and kidney, allergic reactions.

     Contraindications : violation gemopoeza expressed violations of the liver and kidneys.
