Propantelin bromide (propantheline bromide)
PROPANTELIN BROMID (Propantheline bromide).
Diizopropilmetil [(ksanten-9- CARBONYLOXY) ethyl] ammonium bromide.
Synonyms: Pro Banthin, Aclobrom, Bropantil, Ketaman, Lenigastril, Mephatelin, Neo-Gastrosedan, Pantheline, Pro-Banthine, Pro-Gastron, Propantel, Spastil, Suprantil and others.
Is quaternary ammonium compounds close to the structure and actions to metatsinu and hlorozilu. Provides peripheral holinoliticheskoe and skin effects.
Apply in functional gastrointestinal disorders, duodenal ulcer disease and cancer of stomach, cramps ureter and bladder, etc. (see Metatsin).
Assign inside of 1 - 2 tablets (15 - 30 mg) 2 - 3 times a day.
Possible side effects and contraindications are the same as for metatsina.
Form release: pills to 0,015 g (15 mg) in glass tubes for 20.
