OKSALIPLATIN (Oxaliplatin).

     [(1R, 2R) -1,2 - Tsiklogeksandiamin-N, N?] [oksalato (2) - O, O?] platinum.

     Synonym : Eloksatin, Eloxatine.

     White or almost white powder.

     On anticancer mechanism of close to cisplatin.

     Assign only adults with cancer of the large bowel and ovaries.

     Enter intravenous drip (within 2-6 h) in high dose of 130 mg / m 2 1 every 3 weeks. In applying oksaliplatina (as opposed to cisplatin) is not required to gipergidratatsii.

     Possible side effects : anemia, radiation, granulotsitopeniya, thrombocytopenia, diarrhoeal events, peripheral neuropathy, and sometimes convulsions, laringospazm, hyperthermia, skin rashes.

     Contraindications : pregnancy, breast-feeding, childhood.

     Product : liofilizirovany powder for injection solutions in bottles of 0.05 and 0.1 g.
