OPIPRAMOL (Opipramol). 5-[3-(4-Oksietil- piperazinil-1) - propyl] -5 H-dibenzo [b, f] - azepin.

     Synonyms : Pramolon, Dinsidon, Insidon, Opramol, Oprimol and others.

     The structure is close to imipraminu. Is there oksietilpiperazinovoy group in the side chain (such as a neuroleptic ftorfenazina see).

     Has moderate antidepressant activity, but it has some neurotic (trankviliziruyusche- sedate) effect. Has protivorvotnoy activity.

     Applied with minor alarming state of anxiety, psychovegetative violations involving fear, stress, sleep disturbances, etc. The effect is usually 10 to 14 days from the start of treatment.

     Assign an adult on the inside of 0.05-0.1 grams (1-2 Bean; To take the evening), or 0.05 g 2 - 3 times daily. Children under 6 years of age appoint 0.05 g (1 Bean) 1 to 2 times daily.

     Adverse events (dizziness, euphoria, stir, dry mouth, tachycardia) are rare.

     Indications are the same as for imipramina.
