Mometazon (mometasone)
MOMETAZON (Mometasone).
(11? 16?) -9.21 - Dichloro-11, 17-dioksi-16- metilpregna-1, 4-diene-3, 20-dione.
Synonyms : Nazoneks, Elokom, Elocom, Nasonex.
White powder with the amber or grey shade. Nerastvorim water poorly soluble in n-octanol and moderate in alcohol.
Glyukokortikosteroid for local use.
Assign at length, Medicine, rhinitis (allergic, seasonal and chronic), sinusitis (in the adjuvant therapy).
Intranasal to begin on February 1 inhalation every day, in reaching effect on 1 inhalations per day. The maximum daily dose of 0.4 mg (4 inhalation).
Ointments or cream to the affected areas to cause skin lotion (a few drops) in the skin, nails rubbing of the head 1-2 times a day.
Possible side effects : burning itch, parestezii, ugrevidnye nausea, skin atrophy, gipertrihoz, contact dermatitis, secondary infection, etc.
The drug is contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Method of issuance : intranasal spray in vials (0.05 mg / dose; 120 doses); 0.1% cream and ointment in the box on 15 g; 0.1% in lotion bottles of 20 ml.
