Moclobemide (moclobemide)
MOKLOBEMID (Moclobemide). Hlor-N- 4 - (2-Morfolinoetil) - benzamid
Synonym : Aurorix.
The structure differs from befola (see) that the side chain contains ethyl group propilnoy instead.
Moclobemide is antidepressant-reversible inhibitor of MAO and affects mostly well as MAO type A.
Applied in various etiology of depression. The therapeutic dose is 250 to 400 mg per day.
Possible side effects and contraindications are basically the same as using befola.
