Mitomitsin (mitomycin)
MITOMITSIN (Mitomycin).
Antitumor antibiotic isolated from Streptomyces caespitosus.
Synonyms : Ametycine, Mutamycin.
The structure has some similarities with bruneomitsinom. Contains uretanovuyu group and azaridinovoe ring.
Permeating the cells mitomitsin become bi-and trifunktsionalnym alkiliruyuschim substances. It has a relatively weak immune activity.
Adenokartsinome applied to the stomach (with ftoruratsilom and doxorubicin), carcinoma of the cervix, stomach, pancreas, bladder and other malignant tumors.
Enter intravenously. Normal 2 mg dose of 1 m2 of body surface per day for 5 days. Courses repeated at intervals of 2 days.
The drug can cause oppression and kostnomozgovogo peripheral blood, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomatitis. It may strengthen kardiotoksicheskoe of doxorubicin.

Product : in vials of 5 or 20 mg (blue and purple crystals, water soluble).
