MIZOPROSTOL (Misoprostol).

     The synthetic analogue of prostaglandin E.

     Consists of two diastereoizomerov (in the ratio of 1:1).

     Synonyms : Saytotek, Tsitotek, Cytotec.

     Powder, formed in breeding water viscous liquid.

     Has antisekretornoy activity. When ingestion (in the form of tablets) reduces the secretion of hydrochloric acid, alkaline and stimulates the secretion of mucus, has tsitoprotektornoe effect. Effects usually develops within 30 min after administration and lasts about 3 hours

     Applied primarily to prevent ultserogennogo of non-steroid anti-drugs (see), including atsetilsalitsilovuyu acid. Is conjunction with the anti-drugs during the time they were collected.

     Assign an adult to 0.2 mg (200 µ g) 3 - 4 times a day during meals. The last dose taken shortly before sleep. In the case of bad Portability reduce time to 0.1 mg dose (100 µ g). Children under 18 years of preparation is not appointed (not enough observations).

     The application may be nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pains, skin rashes rarely, swelling, mood, hypo - or hypertension, and other side effects.

     Contraindicated in pregnancy (decreased uterine muscles). When kidney disease should be reduced dose (product in considerable quantities available in urine).

     Product : pills to 0.2 mg (200 µ g) in a package of 100 pieces.

     Storage : in a dry place.
