Mifepristone (mifepristone)
MIFEPRISTON (Mifepristone).
11-[4 - (Dimetilamino) phenyl] - oksi-17- -17 (1-propinil) extra-4, 9-dien it.
Synonyms : Mifegin, Penkrofton, Mifegyne, Pencrofton.
Prevents bonding with the progesterone receptor.
Rapidly absorbed in the digestive tract, T? at 1 a.m.
Applied to interrupt breeding in the early stages of pregnancy (up to 42 days).
Assign inside 0.6 g once. If after two weeks the fetus is not the case, producing vacuum aspiration.
Possible side effects : uterine bleeding, pain and discomfort at the bottom of the stomach, weakness, headache, vomiting and nausea; Foster uterine infections and urinary tract.
The drug is contraindicated in pregnancy exceeding 42 days, adrenal insufficiency, violations of hemostasis, anemia.
Applied only in the United States.
Product : pills to 0.2 g (No. 3, 1930).
