MIDEKAMITSIN (Midecamycin).

     Antibiotics group macrolides.

     Once inside quickly and completely absorbed, with max of 1-2 hrs; Accumulates in the lungs, tumors and podchelyustnoy gland, skin; Biotransformation exposed in the liver, bile appears mainly.

     Applied with infection of the respiratory tract and urinary tract caused by the intracellular microorganisms; Infections of the respiratory tract, skin and subcutaneous tissue caused by bacteria susceptible to penicillin; When enteritis caused by kampilobakterom and for the treatment and prevention of whooping cough and diphtheria.

     Assign an adult on the inside of 0.4 g three times per day, children 20-50 mg / kg (2-3 admission). The course of treatment for 7-10 days (with chlamydial infection, 14 days).

     Possible side effects : diarrhoeal phenomenon, eosinophilia, allergic skin reactions.

     The drug is contraindicated in severe liver failure.
