MAGNESIUM PEREKIS (Magnesii peroxydum).

     A mixture of magnesium oxide (85%) and magnesium peroxides (15%).

     Synonyms : Magnesium pergidrol, Magnesium peroxydatum, Magnium peroxydatum.

     White powder odourless almost nerastvorim in water, soluble in mineral acid divorced from the provision of hydrogen peroxide.

     Applied with colonnades, fermentation in the stomach and intestines, diarrhea. The effect is partly attributable to the effect of magnesium oxide, partly with the formation of hydrogen peroxide in dissolving the drug in the acidic gastric contents. Assign of 0.25 - 0.5 g 3 - 4 times a day before food or after eating.

     Product : powder.
