LOZARTAN (Losartan).

     2-chloro Butil-4- [2 - (1 H-TETRAZOL ilfenil) benzyl] - imidazol-5- methanol.

     Available in the form of potassium salt.

     Synonym : Kozaar, Cozaar.

     White or not white crystalline powder. It is soluble in water and poor in organic solvents.
