KETOROLAK (ketorolac).

     (+-)- Benzoil-5-2, 3-dihydro-1 H pirrolizin-1- carboxylic acid (salt with 2-amino (gidroksimetil) -1,3 - propandiolom).

     Synonyms : Dolak, Ketalgin, Ketanov, Ketorol, Toradol Trometamin, Ketrodol, Nato, Toradol, Torolak, Dolak, Ketanov, Ketorol, Ketorolac Trometamine, Ketrodol, Nato, Toradol, Torolac.

     Inhibitor biosynthesis prostaglandines.

     Quickly and completely absorbed, with max of 40-50 minutes (with intravenous 5-min); Displayed in the kidneys.

     Has expressed blood activity.

     Applied injuries in the aftercare period, when chamber, in pain from cancer patients and other pain syndromes.

     Assign inside, intramuscularly and intravenously to 0,01-0,03 g (10-30 mg) every 6-8 hours; The maximum daily dose, 0.09 g (for the elderly and weakened patients - more than 0,06 g). Time course of not more than 5 and 7 days parenteral and solid introduction respectively (for children 2 days).

     Possible side effects : diarrhoeal disorders, mood, anxiety, swelling, pain at the injection.
