FORLAKS (Forlax).

     A key component of the product is polymer substance-makrogol 4000 or glycol common formula.

     This connection with a high molecular weight has the ability to attract and retain significant amounts of liquid (water); Admission inside it is nabuhaet and increases in intestinal fluid content, which leads to increased peristalsis. By arrangement is similar to actions agar agar, alginatami (see Marine cabbage). The product is not absorbed in the intestine and provided with faeces. Laxative effect is relatively slow-through 24-48 h after administration of the drug.

     Assign an adult with zaporah to 10 grams (1 package) 1-2 times a day (content package tentatively dissolve in a glass of water).

     Forlaks generally well tolerated by. In some cases, possible pain, diarrhoea (at higher doses).

     The product contraindications with inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, a disease Krona, etc.), uterine infection, severe heart failure in childhood.

     Form release: Herbal powder for solution for the reception inside of bags to 10 grams (N. 10, 20).

     Note. Makrogol 4000 (glycol) is also used as a component of eye drops, lacrimal fluid replacement (Hypo Tears), see also Lakrisin.

     Polyethylene varying molecular weight used as a tool in the manufacture of finished dosage forms.
