EPIRUBITSIN (Epirubicin).

     (8S- cis) -10-[(3-Amino-2, 3,6 - tridezoksi-? -L- arabinogeksopiranozil) Oxy] -7,8,9,10 - tetrahydro-6, 8,11 - trioksi-8 (oksiatsetil) -1 - metoksi-, 12-naftatsendion.

     Synonyms: Farmorubitsin, Epilem, Epilem, Farmorubicin.

     Antratsiklinovogo antitumor antibiotic series.

     Antitumor effects due interkalyatsiey and covalently bind DNA and inhibition topoizomerazy II.

     Apply with breast cancer, ovarian, stomach, liver, pancreas, sigmovidnoy and rectum, lung, bladder, NON lymphoma, sarcoma, neyroblastome, head and neck tumors, leukemia, the disease incidence.

     Assign intravenously (enter in the 3-5 min) in the dose of 30 mg / m2 per day for 1-3 days with an interval of 3 weeks, or 100 mg / m2 1 every 3 weeks. Exchange dose of 1 g / m2.

     Possible side effects: diarrhoeic disorder, anorexia, stomatitis, alopecia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, kardiotoksicheskie effects (expressed weaker than doxorubicin), increased body temperature, sklerozirovanie veins.

      Contraindications: mielosupressiya, serious heart disease, pregnancy, breast-feeding.
