BISOPROLOL (Bisoprolol).

     (±) -1 - Izopropoksietoksi -[[?-( 2), para-tolyl] - Oxy] -3 - (izopropilamino) -2-propanol.

     Synonym : Concor, Concor.

     The white crystalline powder. Well soluble in water, methanol and ethanol.

     Kardioselektivny? 1-adrenoblokator long periods. Membrane and partial agonisticheskoy activity is not. No impact on lipid exchange.

     Bioavailability of 80%, S-max 2-4 h, T? 9-12 hours; devoted mainly kidneys.

     Key evidence : arterial hypertension, strokes, postinfarktny period.

     Using as adjuvant therapy in chronic heart failure.

     Is the inside, not liquid, or the morning shock at the luncheon.

     As an antihypertensive and antianginalnogo funds usually designated for 0,005-0,01 g (5-10 mg), 1 per day.

     Antihypertensive effect develops through 3-4 h after administration and lasted for more than 24 hours

     In chronic heart failure appointed from 0.00125 grams (1.25 mg) per day and gradually increasing the weekly dose of 1.25 mg (5 doses of 7.5 mg and take to 4 weeks) to a maximum of 0.01 g - (10 mg).

      As published in foreign medical literature indicates that in patients with severe chronic congestive heart failure (from the treatment of ACE inhibitors, and if necessary diuretikami cardiac glycosides) bisoprolola application within 1 year resulted in a credible reduction of total mortality, sudden death and the number of hospital admissions. Similar results were obtained in patients and post-myocardial infarction.
