BIPERIDEN (Biperiden).
1-[Bitsiklo (2,2,1) gept-5- en d] -1 piperidino-1- phenyl-propanol.
Available as hydrochloride, and lactate.
Synonyms : Akineton, Akineton, Dekinet, Ipsatol, Paraden, Tasmolin.
The white crystalline powder. Poor soluble in water and alcohol.
The structure and pharmacologically similar to tsiklodolu.
Entering into bioavailability of about 30%, S-max 1/2-2 hours; Out of metabolites in urine and faeces.
Assign with parkinsonizme and extrapiramidale violations caused Neuroleptics.
Applied inside or parenteral (intravenous or intramuscular injection).
