PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Holinomimetic. It is a precursor of acetylcholine. It mainly influences cholinergic receptors in the central nervous system. Glycerophosphate, which is formed during the cleavage of choline alfoscerate, is a precursor of the phospholipids (phosphatidylcholine) of the neuron membrane. It facilitates the transfer of nerve impulses in cholinergic neurons, improves the plasticity of neuronal membranes and the function of receptors.
INDICATIONS
Acute period of craniocerebral trauma with predominantly stem lesion level, chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency (dyscirculatory encephalopathy); a syndrome of dementia of various genesis, incl. Alzheimer's disease; ischemic stroke (early and late recovery period); Goettington's chorea; senile pseudomelanchia.
DOSING MODE
Inside: 400 mg 3 times / day, the course of treatment 3-6 months. In / m or in / in: 1 g / day.
SIDE EFFECT
Possible nausea.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Pregnancy, lactation, hypersensitivity to choline alfoscerate.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
