PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Helepin-D has high antiviral activity against DNA-containing viruses of the herpes group, moderate antimicrobial activity, stimulates the induction of gamma-interferon and exerts immunostimulating action against cellular and humoral immunity.
INDICATIONS
- diseases caused by Herpes simplex and Varicella zoster;
- acute and recurrent forms of herpes simplex genital and extragenital localization;
- eczema of Kaposi;
- herpetic stomatitis;
- Shingles;
- chickenpox.
DOSING MODE
Helepin-D ointment is applied topically and / or externally. On the skin adults are used 5% ointment, children - 1% ointment, on the mucous membranes of adultsand children apply 1% ointment. Ointment is applied a thin layer on the affected areas without bandage 2-6 times / day.
In acute and recurrent forms of herpes simplex , in case of single eruptions, the duration of ointment application is 3-5 days; when spreading rashes, as well as withgeneralized forms of herpes simplex ( Kaposi's eczema) - from 7-10 days to 3-4 weeks.
In viral diseases of the oral mucosa, with genital herpes, shingles, chicken pox, ointment is applied to affected areas 3-6 times / day. The minimum course of treatment is 7-10 days.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
The therapeutic effect of Hlepleia-D is most pronounced when it is used in the initial period of the disease or relapse.
With common rashes and the presence of common phenomena (fever, lymphadenopathy) with acute, recurrent forms, as well as generalized forms of herpes simplex (Kaposi's eczema), genital herpes, shingles, chicken pox, and also for viral diseases of the oral mucosa, ointment is prescribed in a complex with tablets Helepin-D tablets covered with 0.1 g. In case of chronic recurrent course of the disease, it is possible to apply repeated courses of treatment.
